Polaris Announces Change to Board of Directors

Vancouver, British Columbia – On behalf of the Board of Directors of Polaris Minerals Corporation (TSX: PLS), Dr. Roman Shklanka, Chairman, today announced the resignation of Mr. Robert Edsel from the Board.

Dr. Shklanka said, "Robert Edsel has been an active member of the Board since 2002, and on behalf of the Company, its shareholders, and my fellow Directors, I would like to thank him for his guidance and contribution to the Company's success."

Polaris Minerals Corporation is exclusively focused on the development of quarries and the production of construction aggregates on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, for marine transport to urban markets on the west coast of North America to meet growing local supply deficits. In 2007, Polaris began shipping high-quality sand and gravel from the Orca Quarry to San Francisco Bay, Vancouver, and Hawaii.
